Has a typical southern lands aroma with black stone fruits, pepper and dusty herbs; it has a flinty, clear quality. The palate gives fresh, direct, dentelle or toothsome fruit with forward, grainy tannins; there is some dark stone fruit intensity at its centre. This has notably genuine, naked qualities, its coolness well presented. This will be great with grills. It is a bundle of authentic garrigue in the glass, for the well informed drinkers who like truth – it is STGT Séguret. The finish is really good, with its verve and freshness inviting a second glass.
