Modus Ruffino 2010

Ruby red in color with purple hues. An intense aroma with notes of ripe cherries, plums and blackberries typical of Sangiovese, complemented by sweet tobacco, mint and spices that give Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. A full-bodied wine in a modern style, rich in silky tannins and a lingering aftertaste of vanilla and red berries. Juicy and fresh, sophisticated with a distinctive character. The wine is wonderful in combination with rich dishes such as steak, pasta with balonese and ossobuco sauce.
