Hearst Ranch Three Sisters Cuvee Red 2013

This bright red colored Rhone styled red blend opens with a blueberry and cherry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and easy to drink. The flavor profile is a tasty blend of gentle red plum with notes of dried cherry. I also detected some faint hints of strawberry and oak in the background. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins show nice length. This wine is food friendly and would pair nicely with a pork tenderloin with sage. Enjoy – Ken
