A whiff of cinnamon lends spice to fresh apple and pear aromas on this dry, light-bodied Vidal Blanc. Crisp green apple and lime notes on the palate are puckery and tart but contribute to a brisk, refreshing finish. Crisp and clean fruit flavor and texture, with acidity that provides a lovely balance. This wine is an excellent alternative to a dry Riesling; with some light tropical notes on the finish. Food Pairing: Three-cheese ravioli, fish, shrimp and chicken on the grill, smoked trout and fresh salads.
