Cheverny “Le Petit Chambord” Francois Cazin 2013

It’s a blend of 80/20 Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay made from organically farmed vines up to 40 years old – planted in clay-limestone soils – that delivers crisp, focused, mineral and citrus notes galore. The grapes are hand-harvested, co-fermented with natural yeasts in tank, then aged in tank and neutral oak for a year and bottled by gravity and with no filtration. It’s a perfect aperitif, great with salads, seafood, sushi and more.
