Brunello di Montalcino Collina dei Lecci 2010.

A soft and silky Brunello with plum, walnut, berry and cedar aromas and flavors. Full-bodied, juicy and ripe. Tuscan dust texture for tannins. A pretty, savory successor to the excellent regular 2010 bottling. Aromas of blue flower, rose and wild berry waft from the glass. The palate is a bit funky but savory, offering crunchy red berry, black raspberry, game, meat juice, clove and grilled herb. It’s still young, with bracing tannins.
